Gentle one-to-one dog grooming in Eaton Socon, with only ever one dog in the salon at a time.

I am a 1-2-1 groomer and only ever have one dog in my salon at any one time. OCN Level 3 qualified, with a friendly grooming service for your best friend.

One dog at a time, and all of my attention.

Your dog never shares the salon with other dogs. They have the salon, the table and me to themselves from the moment they arrive until you collect them.

That calm is what nervous dogs need. Rescues, worriers and dogs who are fussy about their feet get time to settle, a fuss and a groom done at their pace.

“My female cockapoo has a nervous disposition and I am very particular about how I wanted her to be groomed. In other words, we aren’t the easiest clients! However, I’m pleased to say that Pelin was understanding, patient and did a terrific job. We have already booked the next appointment. Thanks once again Pelin!”

The groom

Every dog is different, so every groom is too. Here is what you can expect when your dog comes to me.

  • The full groom

The full monty, as one owner put it: the shower, the dryer and a proper trim, done start to finish by me with your dog the only one in the salon.

  • Hand-scissored trims

Clippers not your dog's thing? Some dogs get frightened by the noise, so they get a proper trim with scissors instead.

  • Shower and dryer, gently

Plenty of dogs aren't keen on the shower, the dryer or having their feet touched. We go at their pace.

  • Nervous dogs and rescues

Anxious rescues, timid Poms and nervous cockapoos are very welcome. Patience is the whole point of a 1-2-1 salon.

  • Big dogs and thick coats

From little Poms to chow chows and a 45kg Tibetan Mastiff, I'll take the time a big coat needs.

“Pelin is warm and welcoming. She was happy to work with our Tibetan Mastiff rescue, Ted: all 45kg of him! He was very nervous and Pelin had to work for two hours to clean him and make him tidy, talking to him and showing a tremendous level of care. We won’t be going anywhere else and consider ourselves lucky to have found her.”

Hello, I’m Pelin

I’m an OCN Level 3 qualified groomer, a dog groomer mummy with a small business to grow, working from my own little parlour in Eaton Socon.

Pelin’s Pooches turned five in December 2024. I’m so grateful to all my customers who have supported me from the beginning, and I’m lucky to have a job I adore. It never feels like a job.

I keep learning, too. In January 2026 I spent a lovely educational day at The Coat seminar, and came home with a gorgeous new pair of scissors.

“We have a chow chow and understandably they can be super difficult in general and also very particular when it comes to their grooming, Pelin does an amazing job and is so good with our pooch! Highly recommend, she’s so lovely and generally cares and loves the animals and you can tell with the work and effort she puts in to the doggies! Thanks Pelin as always 🤍”

“So so happy with our first groom! Pelin is super sweet and did a great job even though our pup is quite difficult. We will be back!”

“I was very worried about taking my new very anxious rescue to a groomers but he really needed it. After seeing videos of Pelin’s pooches I decided that she has the love of dogs that would make this a positive experience for my little Ollie. When we arrived She made such a fuss of him, he just walked off with her without even a look back which is remarkable as he is never more that a yard away from me. When I picked him up he was a proper happy little bunny. He had the full monty and somehow a proper trim with scissors as he got frightened from the noise of the clippers. Highly recommended 5 🌟”

Your visit

A few simple routines help me run the salon smoothly and look after your pooch while they are with me.

Book on Tuft
  1. Book on Tuft

Book your appointments in the Tuft app and you'll get automatic reminders. It's quick, easy and helps me stay organised.

  2. Ring the doorbell

When you arrive, ring the doorbell and I'll come out to collect your dog at the gate.

  3. Ring again to collect

When it's time to collect your dog, ring the bell again. I'll either bring your dog out or let you know when it's okay to come in.

  4. Paying

Payment is made before collection. Bank transfers in advance, or card or cash at pickup.

  5. Changing plans

I need at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellation. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, or miss it, the full fee is charged.

  6. Book a few ahead

Rescheduling can mean a longer gap between grooms, which is uncomfortable for your dog. Booking your next few appointments in advance avoids disappointment.
